Action Plan to Support Raising Next-Generation

The Fifth Action Plan of Shibaura Electronics Co., Ltd.

To enable all of our employees to perform at their full potential by creating an environment where they can keep working while raising children and work comfortably, we formulate our action plan as follows.

1. Planning period For three years from April 1, 2022, to March 31, 2025
2. Outline
Target 1: To reduce extra working hours by ensuring everyone is informed of the existing No Overtime Day.
<Measures>
  • From April 2022: To understand the current situation of extra working hours and No Overtime Day
  • From April 2022: To ensure employees to be informed of the aggregate data on monthly overtime hours
  • From April 2022: To inform No Overtime Day on the electronic bulletin board again
Target 2: To increase the average number of days when annual paid holidays are taken per employee by 10% compared to the previous year
<Measures>
  • From April 2022: To understand the actual situation of taking annual paid holidays
  • From April 2022: To provide the information on the situation of taking annual paid holidays at each department
  • From April 2022: To inform employees of the annual paid holidays to be taken on the in-house bulletin board
Target 3: To raise the rate of taking annual paid holidays to the following level at least within the period of the action plan
  •  Male employees … To raise the rate of taking annual paid holidays to 50% or more
  •  Female employees … To raise the rate of taking annual paid holidays to 80% or more
<Measures>
  • From April 2022: To establish a consultation counter for maternity and childcare leaves
  • From April 2022: To make a brochure for maternity and childcare leaves and to inform employees of these leaves
  • From October 2022: To revise the brochure for maternity and childcare leaves and to inform employees of these leaves
